Vestline Privacy Policy

Vestline was built to be privacy-first: your equity and tax data is yours, stored only on your own devices and in your own private iCloud account.

This policy explains exactly what Vestline does and doesn't do with your data.

Vestline stores the information you enter to track your equity: RSU grant details (company name, grant date, share count, vest schedule), vest events, tax-lot and cost-basis figures, and tender-offer scenario inputs.

If you use the document-scanning feature, the scanned images are processed on-device to extract text — the images themselves are not uploaded anywhere by Vestline.

All of this data is stored in your device's local database and synced across your own iPhone, iPad, and Mac exclusively through your private iCloud account (CloudKit's private database).

Vestline has no backend server of its own — nobody at Vestline, and no third party, can see, access, or receive your grant, vest, or tax-lot data. Only you, signed into your own iCloud account, can see it.

Vestline requests camera access only to let you scan RSU grant paperwork or brokerage statements, speeding up data entry via on-device text recognition.

Camera access is optional — you can always enter data manually — and any images captured are processed entirely on your device and never leave it.

Vestline does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. Vestline does not track you across other apps or websites, and there is no account system — the app is fully anonymous.

Purchases (for Vestline Premium) are handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit; Vestline never sees your payment information.

Because your data lives only in your own private iCloud account, deleting the app (and, if desired, its iCloud data via iOS/macOS Settings) removes your Vestline data. Vestline has no server-side copy to separately delete.

Vestline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vestline after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
