TradeStamp Privacy Policy

TradeStamp is a mobile job-report app for iOS, published by NerdSnipe Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how TradeStamp handles information when you use the app.

We do not operate a backend server that receives or stores your jobs, photos, or business information. TradeStamp does not require an account, does not embed analytics or advertising trackers, and does not transmit your data to NerdSnipe Inc. under normal use.

One optional feature — downloading a business logo from a URL you provide — sends a request to that URL only when you explicitly initiate it. That transmission is described in detail below.

NerdSnipe Inc. does not collect the following through TradeStamp:

• Account credentials — there is no sign-up or login
• Your job details, photos, or PDF reports on our servers
• Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral tracking data
• Crash reports or diagnostics sent to NerdSnipe Inc.
• Payment or billing information — handled entirely by Apple

We have no visibility into which jobs you create, how many photos you capture, or how you use the app unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

TradeStamp stores all job data exclusively on your iPhone. This data is not synced to a cloud service operated by us.

SwiftData database

Job records — title, address, client name, notes, creation date — are stored in a local SwiftData database, along with before/after photos (as downscaled image data) and the most recently generated PDF report for each job.

Business profile

Your business name, contact name, phone number, street address, city, state/province, postal code, and logo image are stored in on-device app storage. This information is used only to populate the header of the PDF reports you generate, and never leaves your device except through the optional logo download described below.

TradeStamp requests the following permissions, all processed on-device:

• Camera — to capture before and after job photos within the app.
• Photo library — to import existing photos into a job, or to choose an image as your business logo.

TradeStamp does not request location, contacts, or notification permissions.

In Settings → Business Details, you can set your logo either by choosing a photo from your library or by pasting an image URL and tapping Download. If you use the URL option, TradeStamp sends a standard network request to that exact URL to fetch the image. No other data — no job details, photos, or business information — is included in that request.

This request goes directly from your device to whichever server hosts that URL; it does not pass through NerdSnipe Inc.'s infrastructure. If you never use the logo-URL feature, TradeStamp makes no network requests of this kind.

PDF reports are generated entirely on your device using Apple's PDFKit framework. When you share a report, it is sent through your chosen method (email, AirDrop, Messages, Files, etc.) via the system share sheet. TradeStamp does not receive copies of shared reports and has no access to your recipients.

TradeStamp offers a free trial (your first 3 jobs) and a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited jobs. All purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card details or billing address. Purchase status is verified through the App Store and cached locally on your device.

There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews. Manage or request a refund for your purchase through your Apple ID account settings.

TradeStamp does not include analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or usage telemetry. We do not track which features you use, how often you open the app, or which jobs you create. No crash reporting service is currently connected — errors are handled locally within the app.

If we add analytics or crash reporting in a future update, this policy will be revised and the “Last updated” date will change before the update ships.

You can delete individual jobs at any time from within the app. Uninstalling TradeStamp permanently removes all locally stored jobs, photos, reports, and business profile data. There is no cloud backup, so we cannot recover deleted or uninstalled data — export any PDF reports you need to keep before deleting a job or the app.

If you contact us through the TradeStamp support page or by email, any information you voluntarily provide (such as your email address or a description of your issue) is used solely to respond to your request. That correspondence is separate from the TradeStamp application and is not collected automatically by the app.

TradeStamp is designed for tradespeople and small business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because we do not operate servers that store your job data, there is no job data for us to access, correct, port, or delete on our systems. Data protection laws such as PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (European Union), and CCPA/CPRA (California) may apply to voluntarily submitted support correspondence and to purchase data processed by Apple. Contact us to exercise applicable rights regarding support communication.

For App Store Connect Data Safety declarations:

• NerdSnipe Inc. does not collect datafrom TradeStamp on our own servers. Select “Data Not Collected” for data types NerdSnipe receives directly.
• On-device data (photos, job details, business profile) is stored locally and not transmitted unless you use the optional logo-URL feature described above.
• Third-party transmission occurs only when you initiate a logo download from a URL you provide, or when Apple verifies an in-app purchase.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of TradeStamp after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
